Calla lily selections
Lib is head over heels over her calla lily collection - this bulb is known as Zantedeschia. She often heads to American Meadows online to check their variety when it’s time for a new specimen. Calla lilies make terrific cut flowers; Lib admits they never make it into the house so she enjoys them outside. Many have speckled leaves; the foliage is an added attraction after the flowers fade. They prefer partial shade but will tolerate full sun. Callas are also excellent water plants and may be planted in a bog or beside a pond or pool. Lib hears that Japanese beetles adore them, but that has never been an issue for her - so far!
